RF: Space aliens abducted a pair of pants from my closet, then returned them with the button closed and the zipper all the way up.

In my 48 years on this planet, I've NEVER buttoned and zipped up a pair of pants after taking them off! Not even drunk, lol.

And I would have noticed they were buttoned, etc when I folded them after the wash.

I know I joke around alot here on HF, but I've never lied to you, ever.

I swear to God, I tried to put my pants on this morning and they were buttoned/zipped.

Ok, I don't know about the aliens part, but they just don't button/zip themselves.

 

My first job out of college was in a college research laboratory with lots of lab mice. My boss the prof used to do various surgeries on the mice for his experiments, and rather than sewing them up the old fashioned way, he superglued them shut - quicker and easier than sutures. They looked like hell when he was done, but I don't think it affected their social standing.

The alien theory does seem like the most likely scenario of course, however it's also possible that you astral projected in your sleep, and your astral body decided to dress before going out on the town.


I bought beer on the way home, then stopped at MacDonald's to buy cheap food so I could use their Internet for a while. I think it's time to pack up and head for home, so I can get to work on the beer.

Oh, and I watched a movie I liked a lot the other day - Agora. Beautiful recreation of the ancient library at Alexandria before the local Christians trashed the joint. Period costumes were also superb. The story wasn't bad, either, and it's always pleasant watching Rachel Weisz.

 

I'm ready for bed. my back is killing me. My mom and I have been trying to set that coffee maker up. her drill died so we have to wait till tomrrow to finish the rest. I want to go too bed now, but I got too wait another hour till I can vote again
