Random Facts XLV

i'm doing some nerve wracking stuff at work right now... milling two fixtures that go together to hold a part from the lathe that is to be further machined. i'm putting pins in the one that go in holes in the other to line it up. they have to fit up like a charm so that when they are together they are dead nuts concentric and the flat on each is oriented to a certain degree from each other. a bit of head scratching, going slow and careful. i spent eight hours and made like a tiny pinch of chips.

 

i am tempted for this post to be the first ever time that i use that system and give it a fist down just to mess with you

but i wont...if it makes you feel any better...feel free to go through all my posts and thumbs down every one of them....i couldnt care less....is there some way to see who is fisting who?

im pretty sure admin can...or they could at least turn it on if they wanted
