lotsa bears where i 'camp'.....it would definitely be scary if one approached....we keep a pretty powerful weapon on hand when we are in the back acres....no bear will advance after a 12 guage goes off in his face...

yeah..the only way i could tent is if i had a six foot commercial style chain link fence around it and a shotgun

i do have a new tent..bought it mid nineties and set it up once to look at it and never set it up again

ill let the visitors sleep in there
