Also the mosquitoes, the :devil: of outside, are already out and biting as much as possible. Keeping plants in water (outside) would be mosquito heaven.

Also a evergreen lily you can place the roots in water in a clear vase with no dirt and will survive

Back in the 70's I remember going to a greenhouse at Cornell University where they were growing Orchids in water. I think they had marbles in the bottom of the jars.

 

Orchids are amazing ...the lilies had marbles too...

damn cat he is up on one of the tables I am clapping my hands and yelling at him and he sits there and does nothing. I know he was trying too look out the window but there are other ways he can see out the window
