the heights video that Justin posted was awesome.

love that they look to be celebrating by eating bananas. When they are done eating its the one thing they can throw from that height and not hurt anyone. Damn cool if ya ask me...

As far as heights go the higher you go the same everything looks.

Heights are for people who can focus on one thing and not be bothered by the other. At least how I see it anyways. I feel very comfortable with heights really anywhere unless im walking on broken glass so to speak. People who also are comfortable at those heights I don't believe they have a fear of falling into the void.

That video was very cool and it was also super windy... damn. Biggest concern in that video is if the camera or pole he was holding fell. Pretty sure that would go through someone...

Heights are a lot of fun though.

My Mom gave me a box of old photos several years ago. I looked through a lot of them a few times, but never all of them, until today.

At the bottom of the box was a very small light blue box. I opened that box to find some newborn photos of me along with a tiny head cap thing (not Jewish).
The kind of head cover or whatever they put on newborns back then.

Under them was a letter from her school excusing her from the 11th grade. I knew she got pregnant with me when she was 17, so that wasn't a shocker.

But at the very bottom was a hand written note from her mother to the school saying that she needed to be excused from school early for a 10:00 a.m. appointment.
And that she would be returning to school right after seeing the Dr.

I'm guessing that the reason she saved that letter was because it was the day she found out that she was pregnant with me.

What a cool little time capsule.

    Thanks, Mom.

Last night I was watching a half-hour advertisement for the greatest hits of the seventies. They were playing clips of videos of some of those old bands, and it was like stepping back in time. Eventually, they played a clip from a video of a band called Pilot singing a song called "Magic." I remember listening to that song on my transistor radio while walking to the store when I was fourteen. Anyway, it was something to finally see the band who did that song, and I was quite taken by the appearance of the lead singer. It was just a short clip, but the angle was just right. I wanted her. Then I reminded myself that I was watching something from 1970, and that she would now be in her late sixties. So I googled the band to find out what her name was, and it's a dude . . . named Dave!

Look at the 12 second mark in the video below, which is what they showed on the clip in the advertisement.

No, I don't like butch-looking girls. But at the 12 second mark of the video they showed on the TV advertisement, and the few seconds that followed, he looked pretty good to me. After watching the entire video, I see that he's a dude.

So, don't get the wrong idea. I'm not gay, but my husband is. I never did like that about him. And I'm not bisexual, either. I am, however, trisexual, and if you think that's an easy life, think again!!

No, it's pretty clear that your "appliance guy" is the lemon. Either that, or the replacement parts he used are lemons. Either way, you got ripped off.

I'll fix your washer. And I'll guarantee my work for two months. Of course, with a guarantee like that, I'll have to charge you twice as much.

OK, stop right there! I don't need to be hearing the sordid details concerning the "arrangement" that you and your appliance guy came to. That's none of my business.
