Just started the furnace...

 

I went out and got dog food and used the key fob to unlock the car trunk and it was frozen. I ended up prying it loose with the handle of my ice scraper. I should have known it would freeze shut since we had all that snow yesterday and then the temperatures went below freezing.

 

Furnace blower just kicked on...

roads are glare ice...i wonder how many families get ruined this winter due to government road maintenance cutbacks

I did buy get a snow blower this year, which makes me kinda excited for the first big snowfall... copped it for 180$ of kijiji... score!

 

steak turned out pretty rare...im always impatient cooking in the cold

 

and technically its still autumn...winter doesnt start until dec 20

 

If I remember correctly, they privatized the road maintenance in order to reduce costs. The private companies then realized that they could save money by not using as much sand and salt.

I know, but you know what I mean. It's winter now.

 

Its supposed to get to 29 degrees tonight. For here, and its not even December, that is brrrr cold.

 

I just entered a bid for a bandsaw that is up to auction

i dont need a bandsaw


but i guess i could find uses if i owned one

 

shop teacher in 8th grade took his finger off with the bandsaw..

 

Yeah, what's up with that. I was certainly willing to wait another month.

 

calm no but more high winds later today.....we escaped any snowfal though

 

Gonna snow again today... I have to go out and cut down a tree or two.
