I used to have a couple around that did that on a building with tin siding...

I used to laugh at their stupidity... pounding on tin... lol

then one day I noticed that when it pounded on the tin, bugs would fly out from cracks all over the wall and the others would get them... then they'd switch...

I just pulled out an old coat I haven't worn since the beginning of the year, and in the pockets I found some tobacco, £2.71, chewing gum, some werthers original sweets, and that lip balm I mentioned last night that had gone missing!

    That's made me happy.

I always like finding things in old coats or bags. Last month I dug out of my closet a school bag I hadn't used in months. In the front pocket I found a crisp 5 dollar bill.

I save my change in a large vase and then in early december I bring to a machine at the mall and trade it in for gift certificates and use that for buying gifts for family

its a pretty good system..this way I dont go broke by spending my regular cash flow

I found a £10 note in my coat the other week, made me smile.

Tickets for a gig arrived this morning, and I just went and bought some beer and dog biscuits. Today is going better.

I never tried them together, they any good?

    What's the gig?

I'm singing along to STYX and it must be awful because my cat just jumped off my lap and ran into the other room.

Yep they're lovely, and if you soak them in beer they become a lot softer...

The Levellers :D :D I've lost count how many times I've seen them now.

I'm a beer and Whiskas man myself, but to each their own.

Cool. It's always fun seeing a band live.

Cat food is nicer than dog food.

I feed my cat tuna when I can afford to. At least she doesn't puke it up on the carpet, unlike the orange and brown Meow-Mix.

Yeah, my old cat loved tuna.

I think people are coming over tonight, so they'll probably stay over.

I didn't, actually. I stayed home sick yesterday. Fact is, I haven't heard anything from the manager OR the HR person. Whatever. I swear I didn't say a damn thing about Deanna in the phone interview!!!

Thanks for the good wishes - you know, they first told me several weeks ago that they weren't going to interview me at all, then out of the blue they wanted to interview me - it sounded like they'd gotten no other interested parties to apply. So the story's not over yet... ;)

Thanks Heat, but maybe you'd better uncross them once in a while to take care of some, you know, necessities... :D Anyway see my reply to lunar above, I'm still waiting to see.

And happy belated birthday, dear. :)

    I take full responsibility.
