Every year in the week before Christmas I read - A Christmas Carol by Dickens.

 

I always play Beehive Bedlam on Christmas Eve.

 

I used to play that on the red button!

I also have to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas, before bed on Christmas Eve.

 

Hmmm...I'm thinking I should make my kids listen to Handel's Messiah this week...I haven't submitted them to it before...

 

yeah, cause i put on my work clothes and take a nap, my work shirts are dark blue , my dog is white... and he sleeps in my bed more than I do..

This phrase flooded my mind with many images and phrases...it was kinda psychedelic...

My 17-year-old son likes classical...not so sure about the younger ones. I was going to try to nurture an interest in it by playing classical recordings frequently in the family room...that kinda fell to the video games tho.

 

RF; Now that it is cold and rainy here, everytime I get in the car, '97 Astro Van, the gas gauge reads about an 1/8 of a tank higher than is actually there, then after about 5-10 mins of driving reads the correct amount.
Any thoughts on that BBAD ?

just tilt your head a few degrees for the first 10 minutes of driving ..problem solved

 

I had a '94 Astro Van...I finally got it to die so I could replace it.

Damn, you have got to be the best mechanic around.

p.s. I hate the damn thing too, but it was cheap and at the time we had no vehicle when I bought it.

 

my cars are on e when I start them .,. then it moves up to where its suppose its also floating gauge.. when the red light comes on I got 16miles left .. I have it down to a science, be more like 20mile but dont want to risk that .. been there..

 

I'm not a mechanic, but I will give you a theory why that happens, and not just with astrovans... if your vehicle has been sitting where its really cold, it slows the molecules down in the gas, making it denser so the gas float rides higher in it. After ten minutes of driving, the exhaust under the car and the motion of the gas warms it up, allowing the float to return to its normal level...

Someone where I work asked if I smoked marijuana and I said "NO I smoke cannabis"..

then they said. "WHATS THAT?" They wasnt making it up either...


today Im quit tobacco lol.. I havent had a single smoke yet. other than Cannabis..
