Mine will empty their toys out of the box each and every time I gather them up. I gather, they tip them out. So far, they are winning.

 

My Mom bought me a pair of these ugly slippers for Christmas. They are the best gift i have ever received. They are down filled and for the first time in 4 years my feet are toasty.

Forget looks, I am past all that.

 

this year Ive decided to keep the coffee habit and drop the donut/cookie/danish habit

so far so good

 

I didn't make any resolutions this year, I still have some unresolved from last year.

I'm trying to learn this solo but my guitar sucks and it's giving me grief.

 

I wonder if she knows her vagina is showing...

i tuned both my guitars yesterday for the first time in probably 2 months...

 

Well, for one thing it's never played right. Ever since I got it it hasn't been able to set up well. The neck has a slight bow which I can't relief because the nut of the truss rod is as tight as it can get. The action is so high that if I do runs or bends my fingers slip under the string above and get caught, I can't lower the action because it will buzz at the lower frets due to the bow, whereas the strings are way too high at the higher frets. I shimmed the neck yesterday and that helped a bit. The intonation is way off and I don't have a tuner anymore, it's an obscure Fender model that they obviously didn't put a lot of time into.

 

we have three guitars here that need work.... lol

one needs the back put back on, one just needs new strings, and the third, an electric, I really have no clue what it needs...

The pickguard is tortoise shell but it's hard to see in that picture.

To be honest the neck could just be being difficult because of the cold weather and the indoor heat. I love the tone of it, that and the fact that it's very uncommon, and was a guitar I dreamed about owning for a very long time are the only reasons I keep it around. It's a love hate thing.

I'm sure with a good set-up and maybe installing a washing on the truss rod it could be just fine.

I've had a lot of good guitars that I've gotten rid of in the past and I always said I'd never get rid of this one, so I put up with it.

The worse part is too I worked in a music store for years and I should be able to fix it, but I can't.
