I can't think of too many things I would ever say I don't like when it comes to normal type food (I say that, because snails are not normal type food, no matter what language you call them in!)

When I was a kid, there were some things I wouldn't eat... but now, if someone cooks it and puts it in front of me (and takes some for themself as well...lol) I'll eat it...

If I have to make it myself, for myself... I'll likely stick to coffee... lol

I used to collect copper wires...probably a few hundred pounds a year ...and it was only getting 25 to 75 cents a pound back then

burning it will probably catch up to me someday for the shit I inhaled...unless something else gets me first

watching ice road truckers in India...I can say without a doubt that I will never travel to that country...ever

Im a picky eater...when I was around 10 my mother got pissed off and stopped cooking things to suit me...so around that time I basically started making all my own meals....then in my teens one day my father told me that hats were not allowed at the dinner table...so since then I tend to eat alone...ever during family get togethers I will go to another room and not eat at the dinner table

Same here. No hats, no elbows and no singing. If Mom made it, we ate it or forget it.

    Thankfully she could cook. :)

haha...no elbows here either...to this day actually i do not put my elbows on a dinner table..my mom would make me a sandwich and i would gobble it down and then go answer the phone so my dad wouldnt get pissed...one of the reasons i was forced home every dinner time was cause i used to get A LOT of calls...we wont go into the reason why lol...growing up with 6 kids was brutal for getting calls and phone time so dinner was my best time to use it

You were lucky as we were not allowed calls during dinner. :)

I still have most of the same rules today that they had so I guess it can't have been that bad. They sometimes take the phone during dinner if it is their Dad calling. So maybe I am mellowing. ;)

I grew up with those same rules... and we almost always had extra people around out table... my mother didnt learn how to cook for fewer then a dozen people til years after us kids were gone... lol

I don't have any 'rules' per se about dinner... a few suggested guidelines....

don't throw or otherwise waste food... if you take it (or ask for it) you eat it...

I do however keep my own elbows off the table most of the time... I even hear my mothers voice in my head when I don't... lol
