My neighbor got a new goat and she's very loud, but hopefully she produces some good milk.

 

My muscles are sore today from shoveling snow yesterday. A couple of hours to dig out two cars. I paid two of my girls to shovel the stairway to the door.

 

The snows melting here... but we didn't get that much only about 5 inches...

 

Just be glad he's on top of things.

rf: My dad had a mild heart attack when he was exactly my age - 57. He changed his lifestyle drastically - lost weight, extremely low-fat diet, exercise bike 45 minutes every day, gave up pipe smoking, cut back on drinking. He's now 78 and hasn't had another heart attack since.

 

Looks like we had about 15 inches.

I figured I'd better dig out my wife's car, or it would be there until the spring thaw.

My stepson's car probably WILL be there until the spring thaw. He's coming back from Americorps duty in about three weeks, so we'll need to figure out his transportation...

 

If we got 5 inches here it would be a catastrophe. We had 1" of slush a couple days ago and the schools were 2 hours late or canceled.

 

Its like that here, school was canceled Tuesday and 90 minute delay Wednesday...But the drifting snow was a big problem on Tuesday...

Drifts?! We never have those.

Yep, tons of it. The weather forcast here is for non-stop rain with only a few hours of breaks for the next 5 days.

 

I thought that was ALWAYS the weather where you are...

 

my dogs fur matches with my bead, she blends in well in the dark. O_O

 

No, it actually doesn't rain that much here. It's mainly cloudy, misty and foggy during the winter.

 

I only remember one big storm so far this winter and some of the drifts were 4 feet deep

I think I only used the plow that one time

 

Well its a 3 day weekend for hubby, he doesn't have to work on Monday...

Anyone else have the day off ?

 

actually it sounds like he left some of the things he owns ...probably to avoid problems..he doesnt sound all that bad the more I read :mickey:
