Nice sunny day here...

 

It was the first day of track practice yesterday and there's a new girl that's pretty slow and wants to quit, but I've been running with her and trying to get her to stick it out. It's always tough when you first start running.

 

Today is a beautiful sunny day, and it brightens my outlook immeasurably, but when Hospice came to sign up my ladies Mother, the bubble kinda burst....:-(

There actually is someone who is mentally challenged on the team. He's one of the best runners. :d

 

It's sobering...I've been through that with my first wife's dad and with my second wife's mom. You'll be in my thoughts as well.

 

We were at the thrift store and there was a pair of ruby red slippers, like the wizard of oz... SOB FML they didnt fit!!

 

They probably wouldn't have matched your outfit anyway - and then you'd need to find a matching handbag and belt. And you didn't really want to go to Kansas, did you?

 

true true.. I dont have a matching handbag, my dog wouldnt fit in a hockey gear bag lol. no sundress/farmdress, or the hair style... Wasnt meant to be I suppose..
