I had a dream the other night where I was getting high while some chick relieved my tension...

 

rf: I dreamed the night before last that I was a black business woman.

I was at a party of some sort, and I looked in the mirror at one point to see my hair was straightened and coiffed into a loose bun at the back with several curly strands sprayed into an artistic arrangement. I looked damn good! While looking in the mirror I reached up and touched some of the curly strands.

I also kept trying to use my cell phone to check some stuff on the Internet, but for some reason the phone was complicated to figure out.

Interesting is right, all righty. I remember being very surprised when I first looked in the mirror to discover I was a black woman, but for some reason I just kind of accepted my transformation and went with the flow - and I liked the fact that I was an attractive and chic black woman.

I usually don't remember my dreams either, but this one stood out for some reason.

we have a nasty thunder storm right now. lots of lighting. I don't like real bad thunder storms. I unpluged the computer

I'm glad I had time to sit down and have a real dinner tonight, I've been on the run for the past days. The BBQ is out for a bit and I decided that tonight was kebabs night! It was great to eat outside for the first time this spring, the weather is so good. I love warm and sunny days.

Was dry enough yesterday so I mowed after the little one dad came and picked her up. I took her on her first 4 wheeler ride too...

We've are having hot and humid weather, going to be 88f today...

 

I finally got to read my 17-year-old son's novel. I suppose if I said it's brilliant, I might seem to be a bit biased in his favor. The thing is, I find myself thinking about the story a lot - it really got under my skin - and to me, that's the mark of a great piece of literature. He has sent query letters to two literary agents so far - we will see how it goes.

 

I just came in to cool off and drink a glass of ice water...Its so hot and humid outside I started sweatin' just hanging the clothes out...And I need to push mow the ditch...yuck!!!
