I dont like heights either...but if Im in a stable lift with proper safety it's not so hard to deal with

 

Me too, it's all about stability. I have no problem to be 50 ft high in a stable lift but can't climb on an unstable chair.

 

I fell last fall while building a shed...was standing on two stacked milk crates nailing some boards on the gable end then went to step away and forgot I wasnt on the ground lol...then I was on the ground :d

What are you studying in school man? Is it the in school part, is your profession considered a trade? Is a "machinist" a trade down there?

machining is a trade all over the world. i am in school now for mechanical engineering. i already finished school for machining and cnc programming. cnc: computer numerical control... automated machine tools. i have two jobs as a machinist: one at an old timey joint and one at a state of the art joint. i decided to continue my edu. with mechanical engineering for shits and giggles.. plus i'll be the only mechanical engineer who knows how to turn a god damn lathe on

Random fact: can't wait for all this wedding stress to go away and have my life back to normal. Having all the attention and everybody's eyes on me creeps me out, just thinking about it makes me wanna run and hide.

pussies...i love heights...been on the beams of every venue in toronto..smoked doobies 330 feet in the air while sitting on a 14 inch beam...rappelled down a rope from there a bunch of times...once buddy dropped a 10 foot steel cable from the top of the skydome...it went through 2 layers of 1 inch plywood on the deck

 

any ideas?
