    RF: Just about everyone feeds the wild birds at work. They are becoming too tame I think.

    I almost stepped on a dove twice in the last two weeks. Just today I actually said "excuse me" to a dove because it was blocking my path to my truck at lunch time. Probably waiting to be fed as I usually toss something out.

    And the new generation of grackles this year are even more bold and fearless. They often come inside the buildings to scrounge/play.

    Even the quail are coming in now and acting like farm chickens. Normally you're lucky to even see one in the wild because they're so timid.

    I wonder what they'll do when we're finished with the job and go away, and they stop getting fed by all of us.

    Alfred Hitchcock's movie 'The Birds' comes to mind.. :eek:
