One of the coolest songs from the 80s you've never heard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caP3tAmMEbc

I just watched it again. Are people skipping this or something? I don't get why this doesn't have more likes. It's downright fantastic!
I don't know if this is a traditional song, but I find it very powerful. It's about a miner, and Dick Gaughan lends it plenty of Scottish grit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nf_5G_kCE8c
We sang this song a few months ago in my now defunct choir. We fucking nailed it, though I do say so myself. I think we did a much better job than the original. Really enjoyed singing it.
I am really fucking pissed off with work. I had a really shit week at work last week, and I've decided that I now absolutely cannot stand the bastards any more. I'm going to get out of that shithole now as soon as I possibly can. I've been listening to this song a lot, it's venom gives me solace. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ss_KyPfM1es
Way cool. I think I might record myself singing it and try and make a remix, even if it's just the chorus and bridge, or something.
