Well not just about myself really (i noticed the wink but feel like clarifying anyway ), but about that 67 year old woman too. I would not like it to happen any time soon but at age 67. Dying alone in a rural place? We all pity her but it could very well be one of the best ways to go (subjective of course) And finding dead people sucks anyway. It is too bad we do not spontaneously combust at death
typically their precious protocols contradict each other and are physically impossible to actually follow. like, service time has to be fast enough that it can only be accomplished by preparing food ahead of time. but if business is slightly slow and some pre-made food expires, they are supposed to throw it out but if they do they will get bitched out for not hitting food cost targets. the managers usually make a dollar an hour more than the rest of the staff.
i wonder if they are paid poorly because they do a shitty job, or do a shitty job because they are paid poorly?
kind of both. i think they're going to be paid poorly either way. so some do a shitty job because they won't get paid no matter what, and some are just shitty workers and can't get a job that pays better than fast food management.
Many years ago I had a friend who's father owned several stores of a particular franchise, so he was a "manager" of sorts, but not a manager that the employees would typically see. I remember he would watch the cameras at any of the store locations remotely from his laptop at home, and he was mostly interested in watching his employees rather than looking for suspicious activity from customers lol. Of course he made a lot more than a typical manager and only occasionally visited the actual store locations. I'm sure he had actual stake in that franchise...he owned a portion of it, so was a "shareholder". Normal employees, even "managers" own well ... 0% of that company.
I'm also making a effort to eat better again lol. I've put on a few kilos, nothing too stressful, just not where I want to be though. I want to get back to pre America shape, and I'm going to do so.... Starting now!
Lets hope that's not the case. The local police did perform two wellness checks but since no one answered the door and nothing was amiss, they assumed the owner was away. Hotwater
Hey I'm new to this site.... Can anyone tell me if the name brand "Badia Poppy Seeds" from the grocery store give you a high?, or a relief from pain? Been dealing with to slipped disc in my lower back, and when it slips its sooooo painful. The stupid doctors here have no remorse, they are being so INHUMANE!!!!
after two years, the putrification process has pretty much run its course, and the maggots have moved on to other happier hunting grounds. so there really isn't that much left to be not nice to find. depends i suppose on the humidity in the atmosphere. i hope i get to expire in a peaceful state of meditation, without a bunch of people preventing me from doing so by making a big fuss. considering where i live, if i miss a monthly rent payment, they'll be someone coming by to chuck me out within a day or two after its do. of course i suppose its possible i might have a place on a piece of land out away from anyplace, like the way she had. i'd like that. but i'm not expecting to.
It's not like this lady passed peacefully away sitting under her favorite tree... Nobody knows at this point, and may never know, but it may not have been an easy time for her. Just because she lived in a "semi" rural area doesn't mean it was a nice passing.
Exactly" Police said she was last seen in the summer of 2013, after a stay in the hospital." There are still no details on what she died of, or why she was in the hospital. Hotwater
The only reason the Police became more aggressive was because she owed thousands of dollars in property taxes, otherwise she may have remain undiscovered for years Hotwater
doesn't mean it was "nice" or "not nice", but it does mean she was able to have the dignity of it not being a public spectical.
Only a public spectacle after death. Perhaps that’s too strong but the circumstances in which her body was discovered is certainly newsworthy Hotwater
