Let me take you back a few years to when I was in college, busily skipping class to play magic with fellow nerds.

I'm sitting in a booth in the cafeteria reading and chatting with the rest of our little crew of weirdos. One girl in the group had recently gotten herself a boyfriend who we will all be meeting that day, but at that point this wasn't really in the forefront of my mind.

So from nowhere comes a looming figure that quite abruptly is seated next to me, trapping me in the booth. The figure is a man I have never seen before in my life who is legitimately 6'9 and easily 300 pounds. He is already penning me in, but leans further into me and casually wraps an arm around me. I'm still considering my fight/flight reflex when he puts his face right next to mine and speaks quietly into my ear:
"If I was gay, could you stop me?"


Turned out he was that girls' new boyfriend and they pranked me, duh, but it was a pretty good one.
