Thank you for your detailed reply. I assumed that you had a good knowledge of milk, but did not realize that you were so involved. The problem today is that pasteurization is left to the mass bottlers, so few farms have the ability to pasteurize their own milk.
Here in the UK, until the 60s, the main milking was at sunset and the milk transported all over the country by the overnight milk trains, Sadly none of this exists today since all the goods railways have been closed and the tracks sold to housing developers, so their is no way of turning the clock back. Also, the dairy's that existed then in every town, where the milk was pasteurized and bottled, before being delivered to every household by horse drawn carts have also gone, so getting the milk to the customer within 10 hours of milking will never return. All the homogenization and standardization that allows the fat o be churned and then replaced with vegetable fat has turned the whole milk industry into a joke and half the time we have no idea what we are drinking.
Hopefully your type of local production of quality cheese will survive long into the future.
PS, no more jokes about your avatar picture now that it all makes sense. LOL.

It was not about winning an argument for me. You spread false and dangerous 'info', not just on this subject. It's quite appalling.

i like it when people appreciate a good-will-detailed answer and say "thank you". because its not for granted. i also try to say thank you as much as possible after seeing a user“s effort.

So what did you think of Anna.? She is one of the most talented singers that I have come across.
PS, was reggae what Desmond Decker used to sing. I worked with him in the 1960s.?

I justed listened to this anna, great voice, opera music
thats a different genre of music
reggae is bob Marley for example, im sure you know him?
(,regarding your question: no I dont play any instrument. Do you?)

I basically love hearing every kind of music that demands talent, meaning music that is varied from the beginning to the end, opera definitely falls under this category, but its just not mine at the moment (maybe later?) , the chart music we hear on most radio stations nowadays is what I call "2 tone music" :tearsofjoy:

reggae , and some type of electronic music as the video I posted before with pete from holland demands lots of skills and talent. I like that

I played the piano from a young age, but at college I had to learn the violin in order to play in the symphony orchestra. Sadly, I was so involved in science and medicine that I never had the time to improve my skills and I ended up dropping out as the orchestra improved its skills. Something that I have always regretted.
After Rachmaninoff reached Op17, he suffered a serious bout of depression and thought that he would never write another note. The cloud lifted and his second piano (Op18) concerto was born. It went on to become one of his most renowned works. Here, played by Anna Fedorova, you can hear his troubled mind dissolving into one of the finest works ever composed for the piano and orchestra. When you get 40 minutes to spare, do listen to the work and let me know how it affects your feelings as it slowly unwinds.
