To be honest, this is the only thing by Trio I know, but somehow it has stayed lodged in my subconcious all these years. I do remember that the Uk 7" single had the German version on one side, and an English one, complete with meaningless English lyrics, on the other. Always wondered if Da Da Da was a play on Dada...or am I investing Trio with deeper meanings than they ever dreamed of ?
Hello, are there other things to know about Trio ? Interesting. I guess the translators had given their best to find the right words. The poesy of the lyrics is so fragile . I doubt that there is a deeper meaning, but there might be a little chance that I haden't understood the concept. The lyrics goes 'da da da, I don't love you, you don't love me, da da da' and so on. I guess the song is just too boring without words. Anyways, I liked the drummer best. If I remember correctly he had only one single facial expression . Regards Gyro
And here is a fav of mine from Tangerine Dream. Still trying to find some live video from this concert, as I know it was filmed, seems like most has been taken off of youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2b-gxyKDn0"]YouTube- Tangerine Dream. 220 Volt Live
Good morning, any opinions about Amon Düül resp. Amon Düül II? I'm not a fan, but they are... interesting. Regards Gyro
Not a fan either. What I've heard - not that much, admittedly - hasn't lit any fires here. Suprised no-one has mentioned CAN - so I will... I remember the effect I Want More had on my young mind back when it made the Uk charts, and it has aged well, i think - which I guess is what Amon Duul have failed to do [for me, anyway...] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0nfjguTclg&feature=related"]YouTube- Can - I Want More (1976)
