    Skip James is just scary, its amazing. I also like Robert J and Son House but geez "Hard Time Killin Floor Blues" is just nuts.

    Yeah, Charlie patton, the obligatory RJ, bukka white but I cant believe no one has mentioned the man himself, Big Bill Broonzy. Although having said that,someone may have and I haven't been arsed to read the whole thread, hhhmmmm. Anyway, I agree with you though funglefungus or whateveryou're called, I just cant get into electric blues. THe minute it upped sticks and went North, I kinda of lose interest. Dont get John Lee Hooker at all.

    Honeyboy Edwards makes me laugh, he just crops up on all these documentaries and stuff cos he's the only personthat new these people, played with em but is still breathing! Talk about right place at the right time! And thats no to do him a diservice btw!
