Not trying to scare you, Youfreeme but I have a scar right under my jawline because of similar cat scratches. A few weeks after I got scratched my throat started swelling up, we didn't even thought of those scratches anymore (people were all convinced I had Pfeiffer's disease ) until it got so big on one side I went to the hospital. It appeared to be a cyste/abscess caused by a dirty cat nail. Got surgically removed Excuses in advance, those scratches on those place just brought it all back
I was about 18 I think. I'll try to take a picture of it (since it is a very impressive scar)! Needless to say I never explain it was caused by a cat scratch
I was obviously in a fight with three large lads and a couple of knives - protecting a group of women. I was rushed to hospital, moments from death, where brave surgeons saved my life.
So you choose death over surgery? Keep us updated though, I can't wait for you to give her another bath tomorrow.

Oh yeah, that sucks... There probably is some cream against fleas you could rub on it. Probably stinks real bad too I am only familiar with nasty creams against ticks etc. but it seems like there is a rigorous but effective cream against all unwanted little animals on our pets Hope you run into it!
I just read lemons kill fleas. Somebody suggested grinding up 4 lemons and either boiling the juice and rind while the cat was in the room, or putting the lemon juice/rind in a humidifier, and keeping the cat in the same room. It did say something about two months, though It might be worth doing for a few hours.
