I slept the best as a kid when the winds were ridicilously loud and hard blowing around the house. Rain and hail against the window too. Ideal white noise. And it made me appreciate the stone walls and cozy bed only more :-D

as a kid, thunderstorms were great (except when i was swimming). as an adult, i park under a tree at home and spend a lot of time using electronic devices that i don't really want flickering off repeatedly.
Yep, lots and lots of ornamental varieties, some of which or subject to blight here in Western Washington State.
