    Thanks....

It becomes a tad tiresome when one comes up against cynicism and then meets one or two who are "elevated"

    lol

just a lil kink into the whole soulmate thing here.... i personally am of the belief that one can have many soulmates and just because one has a soulmate type of bond with another does not necessarilly by any means mean that one should spend eternity with one of those soulmates... sometimes things are meant to just be as they are.. whether its a net type of thing or otherwise,,,, and to try and change the way the relationship is simply on the basis of "soulmatedness" could very likely alter that relationship on the very basis that we have tried to change the parameters of said relationship...

I so totally agree, Dilligaf...I've had many soulmates in this life, some have been romantic relationships (none lasted eternally!), some close friendships with a strong feeling attached, some have actually been somewhat antagonistic. I personally believe that we have lived perhaps hundreds of lives previous to this one, hence many soulmates and soulmate relationships. So, IMO, it is possible to have many soul-connections show up in a given lifetime..

That being said, I would love to meet a soulmate in this life that would be a permanent romantic relationship. I think it's comin'!!
    :)

    Sus

My studies lead me to believe the same thing....

I think of them as soul connections..and its very strange when you recognize them isnt it?

Lib....believing in fairies can be deemed as silly....

Open your mind man....and stop being so narrow minded...

and where is my johnny pic?

    :)

Don't know enough about either of them to say, Libertine...

Who is Miss Cleo? A psychic type? I think some psychics are pretty good, others are, well, just...bad...and out for the money. I've had some readings with psychics that knocked my socks off with their accuracy, and others that gave me the creeps... I do think it's a talent some have though...

But, I'm getting way off topic here...

PS...Thanks, Sexbanshee...I do agree. But, with a bit of a pagan background, I do kinda believe in let's say, nature sprites of some sort...don't have a good definition of what that might be in my head, but I do think there is something to it. I know, Libertine...you think it's kinda silly...that's OK...

"Nature sprites?" ... ahah :D please. There no sprites (except Sprite the soda), no pixies (except Pixie Stix), no fairies (except gay slang), no elves, leprechauns or trolls (except online). That's beyond the bounds of silly.

Actually a better word for it is "bullshit." Silly isn't harsh enough for such fraud.

There is nothing a so-called "psychic" can do that an excellent mentalist can't.

Therefore, there is no viable evidence that "psychics" are real at all. And I still have yet to see ANY thread of evidence for "spirits" and such.

Once, the evidence is presented and is overwhelming indisputable, I will accept it and believe!

But, until that time comes... it is all pure tripe to me.

I didn't realize it was our task to convince you. Personally I have better things to do with my time--much more productive things, in fact...

The question that is nagging me is: What is it that bothers you so much about the discussions here that you need to spend apparently significant chunks of your time telling us off? Are you part of a nonbeliever church that's hurting for members?

You can think what you like, but frankly you truly do not know what you're talking about, and you're not going to win any converts here, no matter how many notes you post. So why bother?

    Exactly what I thought!

A lot of talk and no evidence to back up such preposterous claims! :)

The reason you and others attempt to change the subject and squirm out of the question is because you haven't any evidence for your silly fairy tales.

Why does my opinion BOTHER YOU SO MUCH? :H

And what do you mean that I don't know what I am talking about? ha ha...

Asking for evidence of ridiculously extraordinary claims is not knowing what one is talking about?

I don't talk on this forum to provide evidence. I talk here because there are people here who obviously have experiences similar to mine. I come here to exchange thoughts and ideas about those experiences and have a nice time.

Then suddenly, out of nowhere, some guy (you) with a chip on his shoulder shows up and starts ridiculing us and demanding that we need to prove that our experiences are valid, as if he's going to deny us the right to discuss them until he's convinced.

In other words: Who the hell are you, that we need to bother with you? I don't have any desire to try to convince you. What I'm wondering is: Why is it so important to you to pick a fight? Did you come here thinking we were such clueless dolts that we'd make an easy target for your ego trip? Are you looking for a way to feel superior? What are your real motivations? That's the kind of thing that interests me. Your so-called "arguments" are just a symptom of your true psychological motivations. And unless your motivations are clear to both you and me, your attempt to get "evidence" is going exactly nowhere.

    Wow

    Well written zen....

It is so nice to be around "open minded"others....

Life can become tiresome at times when people need to question everything all the time.

    Sometimes, things just "are"

    Are they not?

    :)
