Compilations such as this never really do it. You can't really take "Space Oddity" and expect it to connect with "Ziggy Stardust", and so on... Plus, all of those songs are way too important in the context of their own albums, they feel empty when they are not a part of the greater masterpiece. All of the songs on that CD are amazing though.
