    ^yea thats it. after brad died, they agreed to make music again as long as no hard drugs were involved and it ended up fucking LBDAS too.

    why is reggae these days so heavily influenced by pop and rap? it makes me a sad panda.

    Lol imo reggae is a combination of rap and rock good lyrics with smooth beats thats the way I see and just because Damian Marley doesnt try to be like his father and does his own style doesnt mean its a bad thing

    I can dig that Damien does his own thing, I just don't like that dancehall/ hardcore sound. Plus, it seems a little fake for him to be acting like he grew up on the mean streets... He grew up filthy rich. Nice sig, King. I bet you he's still alive. Whatcha think?

    Lol Damian doesnt act like he grew up on the meant streets he sings songs about opression against his people and struggle that they gone through overall. If anyone trying to be gangster its Ky-mani but ye i dig his music. Lol Pac might be alive but i doubt it, I think suge knight had him killed being the bitch he is

    Anyone hears reggae in spanish?

    - Monte Bong
    - Gondwana
    - Manu Chao (Crackhead or not, his lyrics and music are just awesome)
    - Bamboo
    - Jahbafana
    - Zona Ganjah
    - Spiritual Reggae Band
    - Cultura Profetica

    And some in english:
    - Soldiers of Jah Army
    - Alborosie
    - Alpha Blondie
    - Aswad
    - Cocoa Tea

    and some dub:
    - Maya Dread

    Dont remember anymore.. will tell you more when I do.

    I'm not a big fan of reggae, but I love its precursor. The Skatelites are one of the best bands to grace the ska scene.

    i just want to clarify that reggae is a very broad genre. so, some sub-genres will use pop and hip hop flavor.
