The simple fact that we all can realize that this world is truly amazing makes us different from animals. Its called our consciousness. God put it in the human brain so we have no excuse to reject his existence, because we have the ability to distinguish are surroundings and how amazing life and everything that comes with it really is.

The fact that we have the capability to argue Gods existence is proof that a God exists.

there is no difference between us an animals besides the level of intelligence.

There is no line between where a 'human' mind ends and an animal mind starts.

Some apes are more intelligent than a new born baby... so does that make the baby non-human?

Humans are animals and we are at the top of the intelligence scale.. (as far as we know)..

Just because we have tha ability to discuss God doesn't mean that a God must have created us... how do you know it wasn't just evolution that helped us develop into what we are now?

How do you know that concsiousness hasn't always existed and didn't need a begining..?

We don't really know what's going on in the mind of even our pet cats and dogs. But you have to remember we came to eventually be this way, 20-15,000 years ago the only thing really going through the human brain was food and survival.

He means, in a roundabout way, that consciousness itself is proof of God (which it is, as well as is not, obviously) being that our creative potential is a microcosmic charecteristic of God the Father, and our loving/nurturing potential is a microcosmic characteristic of God the Mother. Which again, it is and it isnt because both are truths that are at the same time illusions. WEIRD!

Apparently, many Indian saints have 'risen' from the dead. It is according to a form of kriya yoga and a very intense state of samadhi. Think suspended animation. They were not exactly nailed to a cross, but surely some jaws have been dropped!
Think about it though, does it actually matter if Christ came back from the dead? He took 3 days to do it and during the process he appeared to a woman (I forget which one) and said Do not touch me for I have not fully ascended to my Father. Is this perhaps metaphor for the kundalini rising up the chakras, energized through the nadis via the Holy Spirit, and attaining moksha when the Devi joins Shiva in the top of the head? "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up" - John 3:14
And another note to the so called Buddhists who laugh at Christianity, Buddha is said to have been born to a virgin via dream sex ;)
    Namaste!

I see, but I still think smokindude's definition of god differs from yours.

as far as I can tell, your god is all-encompassing and his is segregating and separately autonomous.

I believe god WAS the big bang and set all of the laws of physics in motion, and every piece of matter is god or was god. God has no influence on anything or anyone.

I have not inhaled enough paint thinner to believe in gods or other imaginative characters.
