When the Ultimate Warrior beat Hulk Hogan (uh.. Wrestlemania 5 or 6 I believe), it was surely the happiest day of my young childhood. Especially since I was watching it over a friend's house and his entire family where diehard Hogan fans.

I still can't remember ever understanding a damn thing the Ultimate Warrior EVER said.

Jake the Snake was my all-time favorite.. but from stuff I have read and seen, that guy has some serious drug/mental problems. It's weird to think that all of those guys that I used to watch as a kid used to "party like rockstars" when they weren't dressed like clowns.

I think the first match I ever watched was Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon in the ladder match. I was pretty young, but that was enough to get me into it. I enjoyed watching the ultimate warrior, hulk hogan, shawn michaels, the rock, the undertaker and of course mick foley. I still watch it now.

i remember the World Wildlife, i forget whether its "fund" or "Federation", but at any rate, the last time i checked they were still very much alive and well and doing what they were created to do.

you know that indangered critter outfit with the giant panda logo?
yah, THAT world wild life federation.

check out their web site, its a hell of a lot worth more then anything on the damd idiot box ever has been.

certainly a hell of a lot more gratifying then a bunch of muscle bound idiots putting on a show of acting like ass holes.

I remember Studio Wrestling live every Saturday night from Pittsburgh, PA (The Wrestling Capitol of the World). This was originally the Nwa and was reformed as the Wwwf in 1963 by Vince McMahon Sr. It was hosted in its prime by Bill Cardille with The legendary Pirate 3rd baseman Pie Tranyor doing commercials. ("Who can, Ameri Can." American heating!")

We saw greats such as Nature Boy Buddy Rogers, The Crusher, Killer Kowalski, Gorilla Monsoon, Jumping Johnny Defazio, Haystacks Calhoun (6'4" 400-500lbs, supposedly Bruno Sammartino body slammed him through the ring floor), Bobo Brazil, Chief White Owl, Waldo Von Erich, Cowboy Bill Watts, Dominick Denucci, George "the Animal" Steele, Ivan Koloff, Professor Tanaka, Billy White Wolf, Chief Jay Strongbow, The Fabulous Moohla, the Grand Wizard of Wrestling, Captain Lou Albano (one of the Scicilains), Baron Scicluna, Stan “the Man” Stasiak, Arnold Skaoland, Ring side Rosie, and “the Living Legend”, Bruno Sammartino.

Bruno is recognized as the greatest wrestler ever and got out of the game after Vince McMahon Jr. took over due to his inclusion of sex, drugs, and over all sliminess. Bruno accused Vince Jr. of using the wrestlers and ruining their health and well being, and refuses to have anything to do with the sport anymore. Read about it here and about Bruno and the Iron Shiek "cleaning the house" against 5 professional football players in the locker room when he was in his fifties.

Haven't watched it since Vince Jr. went off his rocker in the mid 70's and ruined it.

Anybody see the time Mohammad Ali jumped into the ring and tried to punch Gorilla Monsoon?

    World Wildlife Foundation?

I always thought that wrestling shit was gay.

Now a days I realize that I'm gay, and now I think it's dumb and numb as fuck.
