lots of cool people here
lots of good food, potluck, community building type groups
community gardens springing up all over
music and arts here is AWESOME!
jugglers, students, co-opers, activists, squatters, cool people with interesting stories
I find it very bikable (flat, traversable)
not many natural disasters to contend with
all four seasons in abundance
rents and housing costs are very affordable


cons:
not much employment
people get seriously depressed here in the winter
heating bills are steep
racially segregated
public mass transit is totally terrible
air quality is not good

 

Okay, so I didn't realise there was scientific research that backed up the almost Australia-wide bigotry concerning the indigenous population .

Most of whom are Aborigines. Not aboriginals. Australian Aborigines are aboriginal to Australia. But they are not 'aboriginals'.

Wild Life
Affordable
Alot of exciting site seeing and landmarks
Snowboarding and skiiing
Great education
GREAT music venues
Good shopping
Good hangout areas
Easy navigation, not hard at all to get to one place or another
Most neighborhoods are good and fairly safe
We have areas for all hippy-town, military-town, music-town, exercize-town ect
Theres more but thats all I can think of at the top of my head

Cons:
Army base and the douche bags that come with it
Weather is bipolar
The roads can get pretty ruff
