So, based on the Republican platform, would it be OK for a parent to deny a blood transfusion to their minor child and opt instead for prayer? How about exorcism instead of epilepsy medication? I think there are clearly limits on what treatments and therapies that parents can deny their children, whether based on religious freedom or not.
