You ever heard of Bedouin Soundclash? They made a newer version of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlLvWzSNHq4&feature=related They've got a lot of good music...check them out man, if you like retro reggae, they are kinda like a newage retro ragga band.
I like a lot of ska, from it's reggae roots to streetlight manifesto, suicide machines, mad caddies. I'd say check out the skatalites https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHxEijSG7fg they're old school ska, it's awesome. and I have heard of bedouin soundclash, and do enjoy that of their stuff I have heard.
Oh bro....I love the Skatalites...Older ragga/ska is the music I live for. Granted there's a lot of good contemporary music, mainly contemporary bluegrass, older music as a whole just seems to be much better. Streetlight manifesto is good too....Although most their members have been in like 4 similar bands over time. Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution was their best in my opinion.
the thing with streetlight is the only person who was on "everything goes numb" AND "Keasby nights" is tomas kalnoky, he was also in catch 22, when they did keasby nights, and he is the frontman for BotAR, so, streetlight manifesto is a much more complicated organism than all that. (they were my intro to ska, so I am obligated to be a fanboy) Streetlight keasby, and somewhere in the between are pretty much the same band though, and you can really feel it if you listen to a lot of catch-22 stuff (like permanant revolution) Catch-22 KN, Everything goes numb, SM KN, and then somewhere in the between, it's worth an evening of listening (even if the catch-22 stuff sucks ass)
no... i know whose money it is. i'm one of them clever rich girls... course i'm not freakin' paris hilton rich
Not wishing to appear sitting on the fence , but she sounds a bit of an arsehole. How old is she?I mean any woman who expects a guy to be rich at 18 is just a dickhead. Is she really rich?Or just has a rich daddy?Sounds like a bit of a hore, with an overinflated opinion of herself.
YEAH! guys who are also well-off are less likely to only want us for what we have in the bank account.. but i love my dirty hippie friends and strive to be like them
if it makes you feel better a good many of the original hippies were only able to be so because their parents were comfortably middle class and could help them when jams arose (not all, but it was much more popular then than now)
haha yes, i'm aware. it's hard to break free of the norms of society if you know you'll never be able to come back
most of the hippies i've ever met in real life were trust funders. yeah, they smelled like ass, but they lived the sweet life.
I dunno, I sort of happened half way off that cliff, and it seemed like trying to be normal and failing was going to be much more painful than becoming something very abnormal and being quite good at it. of course, I'm wired wrong, so, head start and all that.
