Yeah, Guinness is so overrated.... unless it's coming from a pub in Ireland. Most of the Guinness in the US is made in Canada, so it's not even the real thing.
There is some great Guinness around the world in quality Irish pubs where it's imported from Ireland in barrels and served on tap. Amazingly tasting stuff. Guinness out of the bottle is a waste of money though.
I have seen some grolsch products in 3.2 in the grocery stores, gas stations. Maybe they are the light lager or something like that. Do you know if I can get these beers in texas for instance, hoegaarden and grolsch (in the swing top 16 oz. bottles) outside my 3.2 madness?
Well, I haven't been to Texas so I can't say. But I am sure if you went to a liquor store they would carry the regular, full-strength stuff. Here in New York, all the grocery stores sell beer and there is no limit on the alcohol content.
hmmm...I like Bud. Granted it isn't the best beer in the world....but I still like it. And the Bud being shipped to other countries isn't the same Bud we have here.
