This is why I'm freaked out about the political gridlock and feel that the Republican Party is out of line to do what they're doing.

If they don't like Obamacare, the next time they get control of all 3 branches of government they can just repeal it.

Why does it matter that they do it NOW and create this head to head match with Democrats, along with threats to the debt ceiling not being raised given the country can't do anything if the shutdown is in place after we pass the debt ceiling limit date.


The stock market is already falling daily now, and economists are on the side of Democrats on this issue.

ObamaScare is not a Constitutional amendment which could be repealed, but a new and mandatory Federal spending program which will require a great number of new Federal employees to administer, providing something for free or at less cost to some, paid for increasingly by others, who will fight tooth and nail to keep their free lunch as with any free lunch. It should never have passed, and to let it begin will only cause greater suffering by those who would avail themselves of it once it is started.
Instead of fighting over ObamaScare, all would be best served to keep the necessary parts of government running and funded, and perhaps some attention to where waste and corruption exist, eliminating all that can be found, and believe me there should be little difficulty in finding a lot of it, if they would look.
The stock market rises and falls based on numerous things, and it will recover no matter what happens.

 

Ah, barry, obviously is having difficulty. What with Lois Lerner , bengazi , obyscare , QE , A fradulent economy , the list continues. Ill be willing to bet barry is headed for a breakdown. have you been paying attention?? we are run almost entirely by criminals! you are falling into their trap thinking 1 obama or any prez has that much personal power in his apparent decisions . 2 the other(apparent) side/person has my/our best interest at hart. maybe this shutdown is just a co-op plan to justify a national emergency. they already been justifying the murder a mentally ill woman while her infant was in the car for ramming a impenetrable(with her car) barrier. and they act like the politicians were in real danger. the only danger was from stray bullets from LEOs. one LEO was even hurt but THEY DIDN'T SAY SHE DID IT..... LEOs fault???? they are usually so quick to accuse seems odd .

^Just to clarify Congress isn't exempt from Obamacare either.

I saw the claim in these forums earlier from someone who said they were exempt. It might've been this thread it might've been one of the others.
