I pay about 100 dollars for a 1/8 of hydro, which is just over 3 and a half grams, so its roughly 29 bucks a gram. Im in Arizona though, so the price is a little higher. Anyhow, its more than worth it because its clean, it tastes better, and it burns better. I can smoke small bowl on one light in most cases.

^ $100/eighth? Shit dude, why not just grab some seeds for $70, a light for $400 and some other random supplies and grow your own? Seriously, you could get like 6 plants off of what you pay for a 1/2 ounce, easy.

Yea I know, just the way it is here. Everything is typically 30-40% more expensive than in some of the more "weed friendly" states. In other words, its harder to grow decent shit around here so we pay a premium for the good stuff. I can get a 1/4 of some "schwag" for about 30 bucks if I wanted to but I prefer to pay for the better stuff. I dont smoke that often anyhow, so I would rather make the most of the times that I do.

ya man you should grow. I pay about 25 for a half eigth, 50 an eigth, 100 for a fourth, 180 a half, all of dank. you could get the schwag and vaporize it, that would still be enjoyable but cheaper.
