here's a couple of tips: when you're crossing the border you will need a photo ID. You can bring in 40 oz. of hard liquor or 24 beer and also a carton of cigarettes per person duty-free. When you cross the border be completely honest with the custom agents:also take off your sunglasses if you are wearing them. But- don't tell them that you use drugs. After you decide what city you want to go to- I'm kind of partial to Montreal or Quebec City because the drug enforcement laws are more lenient in that province. All Canadian cities are trying to attract American students for spring break. If you contact the City Hall of the city you want to go to you can get a package sent to you that will include a map of the city and the province, all kinds of coupons and special events that might be occurring at that time as well as special hotel rates. the canadian border must have gotten way more strict over the past couple of years. i used to go kinda often. haven't been in a while. my dad was going there for a hunting trip (paid for) and he couldn't get across because of a trespassing charge from when he was 19! really sucked for him cuz he loves hunting and the trip was free for him. anyways good luck. hope you get in and have fun. if you don't, stop by rochester
You should go to Montreal and take I81->I88->I87 to get there, because the drive through the adirondacks is scenic as hell, and it has nothing to to with the fact that you'd drive through my home town or anything lol
no we never ended up planning anything... we didn't really wanna risk having to get searched at the border, or denied entry. someday soon though i will make the trip haha
Me too if I was going to the states. It's just not worth the risk. The last thing I need at the moment is an international drug smuggling charge.
do you have a passport hippie? if not, do. not. leave. the . country. haha. you cant get back in without it unless you want to jump through a bunch of hoops. spoken from experence. tijuana'd
