roller skating

My best friend and I would go every Friday and Saturday night when we were like 12 and 13. I always somehow ended up with the shitty beat up skates where the wheels would be all fucked up and I would be going right when I was trying to go left. And the bathrooms in the skating rink had an open entrance (no door) and the ceilings were all mirrors! I dont know what kind of pervert owned this place, But us girls would always have someone watching the door for us when we peed, since all the little boys liked to try to take a peek. There would always be someone making out near the video games and the snack bar always ran out of airheads early.....dammit! It was like a singles bar for middle school kids. And I seem to remember that you were cool if you could master the "roller dance" where you skated in sync to the music. Does anyone know what I am talking about? All the cool kids did it.....hehe.

 

The times I've gone roller skating, I've enjoyed it a lot. But the last time I went roller skating was five years ago (It was in Orlando - and I was there for a school trip), and it was never a regular thing for me. The last time I went roller skating, I don't remember the number of times I fell on my ass.
