thats mean i dont know if you get paid or not i'm really not interesting in the whole process

 

you only get paid for teh distance you are from court.. if you live a few miles aways ,., you dont get shit really..

 

That's messed up. I'm under the impression that you get what you lose in wages for attending here.

I think your employer has to pay you if your on a jury even though your not at work. But I think that only applies to drawn out trials. The typical trial a person summoned for jury duty will see is not that.

 

i made it home safe once again.....had a couple weird messages on my machine when i got home....no clue who they are???one was a lil kid that sounded familiar but i'm not sure

i got called up for jury duty. funny thing is, if you make up your mind immediately, and tell them so, they wont want you. in my case it was a woman, suing a casino, because she stepped off a curb and hurt herself. i told them it wasnt the casino's fault she wasnt watching where she was going, and that it seemed she was going after the casino because- duh. they have lots of money. and it was a stupidly high amount too, obviously inflated, even with our flawed healthcare system.
