Exactly like he's been duped into believing in some all encompassing, overarching conspiracy of the elite that includes everything from the Kennedy assassination to 9/11 to the coming war with Iran and the one world gov't. I've always been on PR's case about endless whining yet not coming up with a single solution, except of course, Ron Paul. Yes PR you hyped Ron Paul all over the place. I'm glad his campaign ended so we don't have to see anymore threads (hopefully) demanding we support him. Paul is a LIBERTARIAN who hasn't a plan to fight global warming, who wants to replace our Gov't with RULE BY CORPORATIONS. He's a CORPORATE libertarian, not so much a social libertarian. There is a big difference. He's all for CORPORATE FREEDOM to do whatever they want to US and the planet, without ANY OVERSIGHT! So it's a GOOD thing he lost. Yes he raised some important issues and had some good solutions, but none of them would ever be accepted. So what now Rat? Who you gonna trust when you can't trust anyone? How about believing in the POWER OF THE PEOPLE for a change. You constantly discount the power of the masses. Those politicians who do always end up regretting it sooner or later. Again, with someone like Obama (as well as Paul), the important thing is the organization and people behind them. And in Obama's case, he has the hopes of millions of OUTSIDERS who donated to his campaign. He has a LOT to live up to. I frankly think his biggest problem will be trying to please everyone hoping for change. Too many ppl define change differently. But at this point, ANY change from the status quo is an improvement.
I understand that part. What hasn't been explained is under what laws and oversight this Campaign for Liberty falls. Are there limitations on what the money can be used for? Simple question actually.
interestingly enough there is NO information on the site about how the monies that are donated are going to be managed,,nor whether they are tax deductible.. you raise a very valid question,as i would tend to hold a organization like this to a very high standard of accountability lest it be called into question more than it already is.. i would send them a E mail but im to lazy lol.. been a long hard day.. if anyone can answer this question im sure more than just gardner and i would appreciate it..
*claps after reading Skip's post* EDIT: It wouldn't surprise me hippiehillbilly, that Ron Paul's donations are tax deductible. His campaign does operate more like a charity, anyway.
