RooR anyone?

i think thwe only reason these ppl thin they hit better is maybe they are bigger or something? i know a 2 footer will fuck you up a lot more than a 1. I think ppl just forget that if you hit a bigger bong your gonna get a bigger hit. I'm erfectly happy w/ my 2 ft. $60 glass bong w/ a huge bowl. Smoke $240 worth of shit out of it and tell me a RooR is better after that

 

but it doesnt matter how big the bong is, if you punch a bowl in one hit, you cant get any more smoke out of it

 

RooR designs theyre waterpipes to scientificaly give you the most effective hit.

I wasn't impressed with RooR. IMO they're a rip-off! My ice bong below....

 

it just looks like a wider bong, you would have to have super lungs to finish a bowl off my bong in 1 hit, you can fit over 1g easy

 

the size of the bong doesnt matter, it doesnt matter if it holds more smoke or not...its just an awesome bong. i dont know the scientific aspects as to exactly why they hit better... i dont know call them maybe they'll tell you if you're so worried about it haha.

RooRs are the shit. oh and he didnt pay 300 dollars for it either. he got a good deal on it at a small local head shop.

if any of this doesnt make any sense its because im stoned... just took a couple rips from the RooR

plus we smoke some hot shit... maybe the stuff you smoked wasnt THAT good??? just a thought

In my room right now I have a double-perc glass bong thats 2', a clear 1' regular glass bong, a 4' hard plastic (I don't know what its called thats it made out of) bong, and a 2' roor, just ordered a 4' roor, and anyday of the week I would choose to hit the roor over the others. Maybe the bud you ripped wasn't that dank, maybe you didn't hit it right, I don't know but I'll defiently agree with the majority Roor's are REALLY amazing bongs. The only thing I'd rather have than a Roor would be a JBD, but thats just cause they're pieces of art and they are very rare. Nothing hits better than a roor.

RooR's are made differntly then regular bongs. It is glass on glass which makes for incredibly smooth hits which lead to massive highness among other things. I'm not sure if that explains it but i'm sure you can look it up on your own or just take everybody who posted on this threads word for it

I'd like to call BS on glass on glass being better. An airtight seal is an airtight seal. Period. If the only air (smoke) going through the system is coming through the bowl, the system is airtight. Whether or not this is achieved through a few rubber o-rings, or glass on glass makes NO difference.

RooR bongs are big glass tubes with water at the bottom. Don't see how this is special. The top comes in a little bit, perhaps that could account for something, but I seriously doubt it. How does it make the hit ANY more smooth with the seal being glass or rubber?

Perhaps I was smoking dirt weed and not hitting it right? I think not. I Know how to hit a bong, thank you, and the bud I get (while not as good as perfectly cured bud from an experienced grower) is very nice, smooth, tasty, and very strong. Besides, if the RooR is as great as you say it should make schwag hit you like some nice sticky buds!

The stem is a big long airtight glass tube with a bowl at the end. Again, not special. The smoke goes through the glass tube, up through the water, through another glass tube into your lungs. Yet again, nothing special.

I stil have not seen one shred of evidence of why a RooR bong hits any harder/better than any other Bong. I will send you some money via Paypal if you give me a good reason, that's how sure I am nobody has one.

My buddy paid $300 for his, but we would still just use my 12" Glass bong with ash catcher. Both of us agreed the hits were smoother, and didn't notice any difference in the high. Plus we didn't want to worry about breaking his precious RooR. Not only that, but the Bong and Ash catcher put me back about 70 bucks total, and is actually unique and has some personality to it.

Drugs are much in the mind, I wouldn't doubt one bit a placebo effect with RooRs. Everyone says they are good, they must be good, I'm SOOOO high! Much like how everone thinks Bose is soo good, yet they are expensive and outperformed by speakers 1/10th their price.

I guess if you are happy with your RooR and listening to craptastic Bose speakers that's all that counts
