well your manager should support you in a situation where someone just bein an an ignorant rude asshole, just for the sake of it.when i say dont take shit,i dont mean give it.when i was workin' in shops i just used ta smile an say i'm always slower servin' customers that complain a lot,if it looked like someone like that. they dont want ta wait all day.it works.
I worked at asda before, you guys call it wallmart, this fucking community cop "PC Chappel aka robocop," me and my freinds had runnings with this idiot most of our teenage years, anyway he came into asda where i worked and was freaking because there was only one box of burgers in a buy one get one free deal which meant he couldnt get his free box, he could not understand for the life of him why i couldnt just wave a magic wand and make this box of burgers appear, had to get my boss down and i just walked away from him, fucking psycho was still shouting at me when i was walking away, hope he fucking choked.
lol. I cant do anything like that but what i usually do is, if they want something but its not on the floor ill go check in the back and if we have it ill just say we dont so theyll get even more pissed off and storm out
When I was working with the public, I had a one, two, three policy. One is being polite and helpful, two is explaining unemotionally that they are incorrect and blaming the store (corporate bastards) and three is pointing at the door. Life's too short, I don't care how hard it is to find a job out there. Keep in mind, I have gotten fired for insubordination before. My last job I got fired at because a girl flashed me. Totally worth it.
i have a hard time believing that. around here, chick-fil-a is staffed by creepy excessively cheerful pod people like enzyte bob.
Our one in the mall is like that, too. The guy at the counter was complimenting EVERYONE. It was a little overkill. lol
I worked at a pizza place one time that if you didn't get all loud and enzyte bob with EVERYBODY that walked through the door, you would get in trouble with a certain regional manager. It was just damn awful for everybody when he was there - both the employees and the customers. (That place wound up shutting down.) I just don't understand WHY in the hell people in management sometimes think this is the way to act...like you are in a big hollow barn and on happy pills. And I've been around more than just this one idiot-with-a-good-job that seems to feel that is the way to greet the public. gad. I'd personally rather have very efficient service from a non-aggressive and not loud person...over a loud, happy doofus. But in many, many work situations, management would rather have a loud, happy doofus.
I don't care if someone else gets angry off some stupid stuff. people would come in to my work angry all the time about some stuff and I'd just laugh at how stupid they act when they crying about something. there was a 10minute line once at my store and some guy freaked out over being in a rush saying the line needed to go faster haha. he started cussing everyone out n stuff.
i have never worked customer service/cashier/etc... i do like to flirt with cute cashiers sometimes, haha but i do think people are dicks a lot when they have to interact with people..... i think if you have love in your life and pour yourself into it, you can carry your love and happiness over to all the people you interact with +
its only the black women for me. always rolling their eyes and givin some rotten attitude. its probably why lots of black guys are into white ladies.
Where I work, we sell our crispy chicken sandwiches with only pickles and a packet of mayo (very similar to the way Chick-Fil-a does) and one of my favorite things is when I get an exasperated phone call from someone demanding to know what comes on the crispy chicken sandwich. I know they're just waiting to jump my ass about how we need to learn how to cook and yadda yadda yadda, so I get the greatest self-satisfaction smiling and telling them, "Pickles and a packet of mayonnaise." Once a lady responded, "Well, I'll just keep that in mind next time I want a damn chicken sandwich." You do that, lady, you do that. Also, know who makes the WORST customers ever? Ex-employees. Ugh! We just had to ban two of them from our store because they wouldn't stop hanging around and upsetting the staff.
a vast majority of black girls act that way, but black women tend to be the nicest people you'll ever meet. i don't know what happens to black females in their early 20s, but i wish it happened to everybody.
