Yes, good job you survived and now everything is peaceful and safe. Oh wait, the Bible says that everyone will be saying "peace and safty" and then great destruction will come upon them. "Like a theif in the night" When you feel the safest is when you are in the most danger. It is letting down our graud to these "camal riders" (None of which actually ride camals...DUH) that is going to get us killed. But, anyway I guess if you survived the 50's, 60's, 70's, AND 80's (terribley hard years to survive...) then why worry about God's Jugdements on Mankind, those are just flesh wounds comapred to the 60's,70's, and 80's....

Those "Camal Riders" actually ride mostly in pick-ups and jeeps. Most of which are filled with explosives in case they need to blew themselves up......these are people to worry about. Step out of your shoes and realize what America most look like to someone who grew up in the Middle-East. Not only does everyone call us the "Great Satan", but many many people in the Middle-East (Mostly Iraq) have lsot innocent family members in our attempt to bring them democracy. Yes, Saddam is gone, but now 30-50 people die everyday on a totaly random basis....they must love democracy now. There is also the people who were just trying to live normal lives in Iraq and then America pulled operation Shock and Awe, bombing many innnocent people in a modern large city. By starting this "War on Terror" we have made 1,000 more Osama Bin Ladens. Yes, there was only one and we destoryed his power structure and sent him on the run. But the young teen who lost his family when a US bomb blew his house up in Iraq is not on the run. There are many out there bidding their time. These "camal riders" are a HUGE concern....but the Russian's are still a bigger one. This "War on Terror" is only making them stronger and bringing more people to their cause. All we are doing is giving them more reasons to kill us.

if you read through this entire thread..& lets face it..noone has that kind of patience. you find several basic conclusions.
the varius bible quoters say alot of blah blah blah the buble say blah blah blah but they don't really answer any questions except with alot more blah blah blah the bible says blahhhhh
then theres manty who really examine th whole world situation from both a historic perspective & eximining current plitical economic & other conditions..showing avctual thought on the subject.. alrgough some of the examinations had been influenced by the original hypothosis that russia intends to attack, the only real conclusions is that the world is in a constant state of turmoil & stresses betwen different cultures & governments has caused & probably in the future will continue to cause wars & destruction
but not 1 could pint to the originalidea that any counry would attack any other soon.
i think itsa good thing that so many are looking at theworld situation with such ijnterests & keeling a watchful eye on the actions & intentions of varius governments & factions..however continuing to beat a dead horse & claim russia will attack america issimply pointless

for all of us who like to think & examilne the world situation we can just create a new thread named something like "the condition of the world examined in detail" and focus on the important stuff without constantly having the bible thrown in our faces

Please forgive me, Campbell, if I lack knowledge or awareness... Would you relay a condemnation to people who live on an isolated island that functionally practice what you do but by a different name ?


Jerry and Campbell I wanted to say that I have had times in my life when I thought something wonderful and good in my life would be taken away by questioning but I later evolved to realize that fully open dialogue with the self is, from my experience, the only path that can really exist because this is what we are all doing at different rates and in different ways; the path questions itself; it is aligned with what our God given minds are doing. From my experience this "open dialogue" yields the truth and thus God given freedom. I have also, personally, referred to this as "the good news".

I am open to the idea that cataclysmic events will happen that people with insight will foretell, and because I cannot conclude about the events that you relay the foretelling of I cannot in good conscience obey the "directive" that you relay. Could it be that our spirits are really not so distant as it may seem and that this thread is really about all of us learning ?

Well if you are talking about religion or the Bible you are talking about two different subjects. I'm talking about the Bible, and the Bible does not condemn babies. You say any who claim to know the truth are committing the sin of blasphemy & are spreading lies. So I take it you don't know the truth. So what are you spreading. My belief is the Bible is the truth, what is your belief.

 

God knows about the remote islands. Jesus said that if a man seeks me with all his heart,with all his mind, and with all of his soul he will surly find me. God will always find a way to make Himself know to those who truly seek Him. I have seen Jesus work this way. I remember a long time ago I was in a place where there was a lot of kids drunk and high and I was sitting on a bench at a beach. I told God I must be the only Christian around here. I told Him I just wish I could speak with another Christian. When I opened my eyes there in front of me was a Christian track just sticking out of the sand. I never got up from where I was sitting. The track told me how one could Give their life to Christ. After reading it, I had two guys walk up to me and ask me if I was a Christian, and they shared with me their love for Christ. They moved on and another guy walked up to me, and he told me he was a Christian and wanted to know if I knew Christ. I told him I did. A simple prayer is all it took, and God gave me a track about Himself, and provided three people to talk to me about Christ. And I never even had to get up from where I was sitting. Nothing is impossible for God. If a person on a remote island really want to know who God was, God would find a way.

911 was a small event. The Bible states that our nation, America, and all of our cities will be destroyed and burn. And it states this will all happen in one hours time. This destruction will come from norther nations, and will be a surprise attack. And the Bible states this will happen because the people of our nation are hard pressed, against the Holy God of Israel. After Americas destruction, the world will only have 7 years left, before Gods return.

There is a seperation between the Old Testament and the New Testament of about 400 years. It is the same Book today because we have physically put them together. Yet for 400 years they were apart. The more than 300 prophecies that Christ fulfilled did not happen by chance. The day is coming when every knee will bend, and every mouth will confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord. The nonsense of this world will be regretted in that day, but for most, it will be to late.

Keep in mind that Jesus is talked about in the OT over 300 times. Also, remember that some parts of the Bible are cultural and not to be interpreted for our day in time.
