Epiphany, my god you are right! I didn't notice that scripture but Daniel 8:23 is what is going on RIGHT NOW.

I don't believe there is going to be any sort of judgement by "God" but I do believe these are the "end times". Take a look for yourself: http://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/Dan/Dan008.html#23

8:23 - Predicts the uprising of 'terrorists' and a man of great deceit, George W Bush, taking power.

8:24 - Predicts a man gaining power through the means of deceit & cheating, such as in the last 2 american presidential elections. He will have many supporters & people on his side, helping him to pass laws(Republican majority).

8:25 - Lies will run rampant and there will be lots of corruption in the government. He will wage war against those in the middle east. He will be killed, but not by a typical weapon such as a sword or knife(as those were the weapons of their time). He will be killed by a bomb or bullet.

The next thing to happen is for Bush to be assassinated. If that happens, there will *really* be absolutely no doubt in my mind that we are in the end times. But, now we must think, what are the 'end times'? And why does the Bible refer to it as the end?

    A great bumpersticker I saw:
"If the Rapture comes, can I have your car?" Basically sums up my feelings.

Where in the hell did Jesus ever make prophecies about the end of the world anyway? Not in my bible.

The end times are not really THE END. It is only the end of an age. They are reffered to as the End Times also because they are the end of the world we have made. Life was we know it will never be the same, neither will Earth. The events that will shortly take place will not just effect the major players, every place on earth will be effected by this change, no matter how remote or isolated no place will remain the same. the Age of Piecies (fish symbol for Jesus) is wraping up.

For anyone reading about the tropical storm that hit Central America, my predictions were wrong. The storm did weaken over land like it should have, but there still is a possiblity that it will gain back force when it is over water. I can admit that I was wrong in this prediction, but this was a prediction I made, not a propchey of the Bible.

Jesus didn't say those things. Some guy named "Daniel" did. And that prophecy is extremely vague. It actually fits other people and times more than Bush today. Look at those passages with Hitler in mind and tell me it doesn't fit just as well, if not better, with the Jew "transgressors" and the rise of a dishonest, evil man etc. And Bush looks and acts like a dumb, harmless ape; far from a "fierce countenance".

No, bush just LOOKS like a dumb ape. But if you know what he is capable of then you know he is of fierce countenance. "Fierce countenance" simply means anger or rage, and yes, Bush has expressed that many a times in debates, speeches and the like.

As for Daniel's prophecy, it was a vision. Have you ever had a vision? I have, and they aren't manifested by the person that see's them(at least, true visions aren't). My visions have all come to me via my guides and 'God'. (My belief of 'God' is the collective of souls on the other side thinking as one, not a single entity)

Being someone who has had symbolic visions that have come true, numerous times, I can relate with Daniel and others who have had visions. If you have, then you will understand, if you haven't then you are only speaking out of (pardon the harsh word, but it fits) ignorance.

"No, bush just LOOKS like a dumb ape."

    coun·te·nance ( P ) Pronunciation Key (kount-nns)
    n.
    1. Appearance, especially the expression of the face: The question left him with a puzzled countenance.
    2. The face or facial features.

I watched the debates. I saw Bush overwhelmed and with lots of poorly hidden confusion. The only slight hints of rage i saw came when his arguments crumbled and he kicked his brain in retaliation for it's vehement insubordination.

I throw that word around alot myself, so pardon is granted.

I like your version of god better than the christian one. Similar to the form of the God I believe most likely to exist (if it exists at all). For that I respect you.

However, your symbolic "visions" will have the same failings as Daniels, or anyone elses; they are obscure and vague and can be made to correlate with a million different events. When do you get these visions anyway? In your sleep? Or do they come at any random time, kicking you out of your work chair and rolling you around with a foaming mouth and forcing you to scream obsceneties?

one can convince one's self of anything at all really.

and the power of one over others is even more convincing.

I believe that the end of days is coming, but i dont think it will be now because we have seen far worse times than this. (parenthesis means who they thought the Antichrist was) Like The Rise of Nero (Nero), The Fall of Rome (Attila the Hun), The Dark Ages (whoever the pope was at the time), The Fall of Byzantine (Mehmid II), The Black Death (especially this one but no real Antichrist), The American Revolution (Lord North), The French Revolution (Napoleon Bonaparte), and WWII (Adolf Hitler).

Russia will not be the one who will defeat the US, but it will be the terrorists since they have nothing to loose. Russia would be too cowardly to do it, but If the terrorists get their hands on a few nukes and get them over the ocean, they could just plant one in every major american city or many major US cities. So i doubt the Russians are up to anything since they know we could destroy them at anytime. But if it were to take place, lets say in 20 years, China would be a major canidate as well.

And one last thing, are u saying i will go to hell if i dont belive what u say or if i dont believe in Jesus.

NO, I am saying you go to hell if you don't believe in Jesus. A good person will go to heaven when the end times come weather or not they knew it ahead of time. But, if you believe in Jesus and the Bible you can not disbelieve in the End Times, because if Jesus turly is the son of God he would not lie about a second coming. There are milliosn of Christians in the world today, not all believe the end times will actually happen. To not believe is to not a have faith in Jesus or God, so if you disbelieve in the End Times you must ask yourself if you really believe in Jesus? Do you have REAL faith?...or do you have a false one like how it is said to be during the End Times.

I wasnt meaning every single US city, i was saying that maybe just a few (like 4 or 5 in the most). I mean if they just put one or two in NYC the US would fall, because its not if the capitol falls (we got back-up plans for that), it if the finantial center falls is when a nation is destroyed.
