Damn, Glen...that's, like, poetical and all.

We're having a spot of snow. I stood at the open door watching it and sniffing the smoke from the neighbors' chimneys.

I have discovered that the best way to do Christmas gift wrapping is to have a bottle of wine very near at hand all evening. I just sat at the table and wrapped every gift my wife put in front of me until she stopped bringing them.

Then I gave a drunken lecture to my 13-year-old daughter on the subject of Georg Handel and The Messiah, which I was playing. She didn't walk out of the room, so she may have actually been listening.

And I had ham for lunch today. Or yesterday, actually. It hadn't "turned" yet, thank God.

It actually stretched to a bottle and a half. Usually by that point my demon has made its appearance and begins cursing every nuance of life on this planet. However tonight the demon remained chained in its dungeon, and I was almost what one might call "civilized."

Thanks Glen. Back at ya. Today our weather is supposed to be rather nice but cold. Tomorrow they are predicting 6-12 inches of snow. In other words they really have no clue what will happen on Wednesday.
