I've been in midlife crisis for over 20 years now. The beginning of it was when I married my current wife. I think I'm doomed to spend the rest of my life striving for the red car, the bling, and the divorce.

 

Finally I get a relaxing day off today, wednesday january 9th

It's suppsoed to be like 70, sunny, with a few clouds overhed. Prolly gonna puff a little cheeba and stroll through the park

i cant help it sometimes my mind wanders and tries to compare classic rock musicians to the 90s alternative counterparts.
i think it might be because jim morrison reminds me of scott weiland
both the beatles and nirvana changed the music scene.
wings and foo fighters had members of those bands^^^
soundgarden and led zeppelin probly had the singers with the strongest voices
tool and pink floyd both have very visual acts
dave matthews band and the gratefull dead have the stoner crowd following them from city to city.
pearl jam and the stones both look like they will be doing their thing forever.
janis joplin and hole both have the wasted female thing going on.
fleetwood mac and the cranberries just because they both have female leads and lots of hits.
the who and nine inch nails...sure i know there isnt much there but they both used to break their instruments quite often in the early days.

same here except i have the ceramic heater on not the woodstove. but i like it a little warm.

 

Yesterday I went to meet the guys at the studio I'm going to be working at on this project they hired me for. I'm looking forward to being able to play with 200K worth of gear.

 

Maybe that will compensate a tiny bit for the sting of frying your Mac?
