Who are you to judge anyone's God? Or anyone period? If he has truely commited those misdeeds which I have yet to see proof of..and I have yet to see proof that he didn't commit them..then that is a choice he made, and there will be a consequence for it. But he who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones. Unless you too are so perfect that you have done no wrong, then you have no right to judge others who have done wrong. Live your life, and I will live mine, he will live his, but nothing but negativity comes the judgements you have made and are making.

This is a bit much. I have said that I think that given the allegations, SB should be investigated. I have not pronounced him guilty. I have stated my opinion, based not on 'judgement' as you put it, but on discrimination, about the merits of SB's teaching and miracle mongering. If one just accepts blindly that because many people believe in someone they shouldn't be criticised, then we'd be in an impossible position.
It is not necessary to be morally perfect in order to discriminate the true from the false. And if 'the judgements I am making' are projecting negativity, they are also projecting positivity, in the sense of encouraging people to check thouroughly on the real nature of those they regard as spiritual authorities.
My posts here stem only from my concern that people are being duped, and that if SB has nothing to hide, lets have a full and proper public inquiry into the allegations. Until then, this is likely to remain a contentious issue.
And I may ask, who are you to judge me?

The death of Sathya Sai Baba was wrongly predicted by him, he did not live into his 90s as he prophesied on numerous occasions! No legal death certificate was issued, as only cardio-respiratory failure was the reported diagnosis, but what caused this breathing and heart failure? His huge weight loss and systematic failure of heart, lungs, kidney, liver and brain can be explained as the result of AIDS. He was evidently taken off vital life support, as he had been on for weeks, so that his death could be announced as being on Easter Sunday! The ashram rulers did massive pre-planning of the authorities for a big screen send-off, new helicopter pads for VIPs all preparing to descend before the death announcement! His coffin-casket was ordered 20 days before his death, when his health was repeatedly reported to have been improving!

A month after his funeral his rooms were unsealed and hidden all over them were found huge amounts of foreign currencies, 98 kgs. of gold, over 300 kgs of silver, many bags of diamonds and jewels plus countless consumer articles… all hidden in cupboards and under his 3 by 3 meter bed! This self-proclaimed pure, holy and chaste godhead claimed all his life and often that he has no possessions whatever, but he ended up a miserly hoarder!

As researchers and historians collect and study the evidence, the accusations and the reason Sai Baba avoided prosecution through his government worshippers for serial sexual abuses and being an accomplice to police executions in his own bedroom - as well as his fraud and many false prophesies, untrue statements and worse will become evident

Sai Baba is claimed by many to have changed their lives for the good. But he did not change anyone, people change themselves (if often only in imagination or boast) but those who believed in him got the kind of boost one can get from many kinds of intense faith and yearning.
He pretended to materialise diamond rings, but some have been assayed professionally and turn out to be synthetic stones costing very little. No one has ever proved by expert assessment of his 'diamonds' that he ever gave away a genuine valuable diamond!

No personal offense but WTF does this mean? What have scholars to do with a mystical avatar wanna-be?

There are no avatars. If you can understand that, or that we all are avatars then Sai has alot of narcissistic egotism and a sociopathic personality.

Actually, if you believe in avatars then the same still holds true.

The one thing India has that nobody else does in the whole world is a nonjudgemental mystical materialism, which is to say that people add up their spiritual impulses until they are overwhelming convictions, when in fact they are little more than pipedreams.

Sai baba is a huge asshole. End of story. Only those who want to feel special make a big deal about how great he is, so to prop their own ego. Nothing about godpeople is spiritual, or honest, or equates with truth. This includes priests of every religion on the planet. They have stopped searching for truth and now hold some fine sounding phrases (usually cliched) and sell them for money, power, fame, and sex.

Truth is a quiet thing, a subtle thing, something personal, something with little to do with any symbol or personality. It's like a glass of water.

    No coloring, no particular flavor.

No, you're not biased. You are seeing things clearly. You are a great knower of truth. Nobody compares to your depth of insight. Those losers who have personal problems are ungodly and deserve them. Those shudras. They stink. They are untouchable. They can clean my outhouse.

Because you know everything about Sai baba. He never flatulates. He wouldn't dare fondle a youngster. I am wrong and so are any who ioppose him, because he is God. Because we are all God, just he moreso. He is showing us the way to God, who is everywhere, and has no way, but nonetheless, yes, he accepts donations in the millions because he needs them to keep up his good work of , I forgot, what does he do again? What does he say? The scholars must know. They know everything. Oh wait, only Sai Blah blah knows everything. Jesus Fucking Christ. I mean Sai Fucking Baba.

Can you show me where exactly you derived this great wisdom from? Sounds rather trite. Oh, I thought you wrote Brahm Hen above and I was thinking of the golden egg of the cosmos. Becuase it's certain God is a chicken never showing herself to those who don't have the expensive front row tickets to Sai Baba concerts.

The nag champa I guess....but sai didnt make it. I doubt he had any role in blending it. Its made in an incense factory, and its just his name on the box.

    :afro: bye bye sai.

There's a certain mentality of people which is very common. These people look for signs and miracles, never seeing what is all around them. Water is a miracle. Two weightless elements combine to make something so profound. No human's notion of God is as realistically profound as simple water, nor as usefull.

A real teacher is like a real parent teaching you to take care of yourself and become successful yourself. A real teacher doesn't store up your money any more than a parent stores up their child's.

A real teacher teachers you to open your eyes, not close them. To open your mind, not become locked into a mystical cycle of advanced superiority.

A real teach has a soul.

On the subject of what is and what isnt a miracle, I guess Id say that a true miracle would be something for which there is no known explanation. Science has theories as to how water is a certain combination of molecules, and how these molecules were formed and came together under cosmic conditions.

It cant say how a man could, for example, walk on water.

Not that SBs miracles so called are really on that kind of level. Crude trickery is more like it.

Do folks like SB have a soul is another question. I guess if anyone does have a soul, its likely there in everyone, good and bad. Maybe some are more aware of it than others. But the word soul is really ill defined outside of this or that particular system of thought or belief.

Its no doubt true that there is a certain mentality that seeks for signs and wonders. The everyday miracles of things like water, trees, animals etc arent enough for them. But why is that I wonder.
I tend to the view that what they are after is a quick fix solution to the difficulties facing humankind. God will wave a magic wand and all will be well. Thus they are easy prey for such as SB.
