I really believe that if the Trumpsters start committing more Domestic Terroristic acts, like J6 or start doing the Vanilla ISIS acts, they're going to end up dead or earning a well deserved trip to Guantanomo Bay for surfing lessons right behind Al Qaeda, ISIS, Hezbolah and Hoothie trash.

It's entertaining to a degree, yet more disconcerting, how we divide up and spew highly opinionated vitriolic rhetoric at each other as if we're mortal enemies and ourselves are the only ones who've somehow clairvoyantly figured out everyone's motivations and can predict the future.

The men behind the curtain love this because they can parade their puppets and remain in power over the people, taking our money and spending it for their own benefit whilst amassing wealth. The pubic is gaslighted and divided in lots of different ways using a plethora of techniques that work to prevent a unification of public interest to put an end to the nonsense.

Of course this has been happening throughout time, they're just getting increasingly refined in their approaches.

Industries collude with government to legislate challenges to competition. They sell it to us as safety, mostly, and well-being, so we can pretend they're working for our own good. Anyone pointing any of it out is immediately deemed a conspiracy theorist or some other character assassination moniker.

When it comes to democracy (the freedom to elect who we want to represent us) and freedom (a broad term to represent our ability to do what we want to do), one can pretty much rest assured that in divisions where senseless things appear to be happening, "What they accuse us of doing is what they are doing".

One thing we can all do, is publicly dissect Project 2024, piece by piece, all across social media and show everyone how it lays out his plans for a fascist government. I have been doing that.

 

The interesting thing about Project 2025 is that it's largely unconstitutional, and deploying it will require all sorts of political gymnastics. I don't think it's designed to become law; it's simply meant to keep the LGBTQ+ community in the eyes of the political right because, Jesus and patriotism or some such nonsense.

But yeah, as a queer person, it's not the Trump administration that scares me; it's his followers.

 

I mean...it's a valid concern for sure, but this SCOTUS has surprised me. A lot of anti trans laws were shot down by the conservative courts, which blew my mind. Then again, maybe they are biding their time and toeing the constitutional line until one of their own takes the White House.

But again, it doesn't even matter. The mere concept of Project 2025 continues to portray the LGBTQ+ community in a bad way. The hatred and bigotry is real, and this just stokes those flames whether it becomes law or not.

I'm not even a big Joe Biden supporter, but how do I vote for anyone else?

 

I can't remember the last time when someone in the LGBTQ community did something that affected my life in a bad way. There's a reason for that--because IT NEVER FUCKIN' HAPPENED!!

 

The original posting was a hair-on-fire prediction that democracy, freedom, and the US itself would be gone by July 2041, if not sooner.

Well we've made it almost 3 years now, and it seems to have been what all doomsday predictions are: exaggeration, hyperbole, and error. Well, that's true until doomsday actually arrives. I'll check-back every few years to report on how things are going. I'm not seeing 2041 as the end, but it is possible. In my estimation, democracy, freedom, and the US itself have at least 400 good years left. The most recent 2 years and 10 months have offered no evidence that 2041, at the outside, is the end.

If you want something to worry about, the Sun is going to explode in about 4 billion years. That's common knowledge. A political party isn't going to hasten, nor delay, that event.

What many people do not know, is that the Sun is getting hotter all the time, and we don't have to wait until it explodes for there to be trouble for life on Earth. By about half a billion years from now, the Sun will be projecting so much radiant heat at our planet that no life form now known to exist on Earth will be able to survive. It will probably be a hot dead rock.
