Saying "Liquor is disgustting" is ignorant

Liquor tastes gross and gives me bad anxiety. Doesn't matter how much I drink, my body has negative effects to alcohol. Sounds pretty disgusting to me.

Most liquor tastes like shit. Just because a few drinks are tolerable doesn't mean that liquor on a larger scale tastes good. You argue and argue here but you have nothing backing you up. It's his opinion that liquor tastes bad, and I happen to agree.

Besides if guys get seen drinking coolers they'll get laughed at most of the time (not that it matters to me, but you seem so concerned about your imagine/money most of the time that I'd imagine you don't drink things like that).

 

It's an acquired taste. Just because you haven't found your taste buds for it yet, doesn't make it the nastiest substance on Earth.

I don't think the taste of liquor has ever bugged me all that much. Sure it'll leave your stomach feeling a bit uneasy sometimes but the only type of liquor that really tastes bad to me is vodka. Just because something has high alcohol content doesn't mean it's gonna taste bad. Take 100 proof Soco for example. That stuff is delicious.

Dude, i never commented on how marijuana negatively effects someone's status in society. I stated that it is not as bad for your BODY. This doesn't involve society at all. Honestly it's like saying "well he doesn't perform as well at waterpolo after smoking in comparison to his performance while drinking"- this has nothing to do with PERSONAL HEALTH. Sorry man, you simply can not make the claim that alcohol is more safe in terms of PERSONAL HEALTH.

MAYBE it impacts certain people in ways in which they recognize that this bullshit established system which mentally imprisons billions of people and saps the resources of the earth just for the purpose of acquiring some made up money which somehow allows them to buy products which are generally meaningless, and which allow for this bullshit system to stay afloat. In the end, as Terrence Mckenna masterfully explains in his book "Food of the Gods," alcohol (along with caffeine and tobacco) can be consumed and still allow the user to function without any doubt or question in the current male-dominator, power hungry, fast-paced, stressful, mind-owning society that fosters the use of these drugs. While marijuana has the ability to open peoples minds to the fact that this society is just horseshit, and that the tasks posed in front of them are just a waste of time, so they (whether consciously knowing why or not) choose to look deeper within their own selves, go on an adventure, write music or create art. This is also why marijuana is illegal and alcohol legal, marijuana poses a threat to this social system, alcohol does not. Alcohol simply numbs you, allowing you to accept this truly depressing, mind-owning, greedy, wasteful social system without any questions.

 

one aspect of alcohol I like, is that you can get drunk without craving it the next day. While with weed ( when I didnt smoke everyday) the day after getting high I would always crave it and not be able to think about anythging else. dunno if this only happens to me or what....

 

That's what hangovers are for. I don't know that I've ever craved weed that much though. That's what resin is for.

No it's not the hangovers. Luckily for me I never got one....whenever I drink too much I useually just vomit instantly Like during the same night within 1 or 2 hours from drinking. Seems like my body just wont let me drink enough to the point where I will feel bad the day after.

There's just something about alcohol that imo is not enjoyable without friends.
I have no problem smoking loads of Mj or doing prescription pills alone but when it come to alcohol I never drink it unless I am with somebody. Something about getting all giggly and tipsy without having someone to talk to that seems really out of place and boring imo.

A person can know everything about something and could have given it a a try and just think it's disgusting.

but unless you have tried every type of alcohol on the planet then i dont think you can say all alcohol is discutsting
plus its hard to judge drinkin a glass of wine and a joint because both give off such different feelings
alcohol for me is definatly a more social thing but just because sometimes it tastes bad doesnt mean you stop drinking all together
it means you should start mixing

but i've only had sips here and there of different kinds of alcohol

last time I drank a box of Franzia, I ended up finding a scooter and riding it up and down the middle of a busy street all night in innercity st louis. Yay College!!
