I can't stand quorn... and I hate how everyone thinks you must automatically love it if you're vegetarian

I like quorn, I like tofu too but not quite so much.

Pasta and cheese for me today

 

Today I've had chips and bolognaise followed by a banoffy pie, I'm absolutely stuffed...you can imagine my disappointment when they bring 3 large buffet trays full of pies sandwiches and creams cakes and put them...where? Right on the end of my table....why did I have to be such a fat goiter today?!

Ive got a beef & tomato cuppa soup..........hug in a mug!! i needed something warm! im shivering in my home, the hug will be much needed!

 

I hate quorn. All chemically mould stuff grown in vats with battery eggs and it tastes all meaty and makes me sick. Bleh

 

Afaik they've changed to free-range now.

Free range, squashed in a barn, whatev really. Still dont like the stuff. Everyone assumes we must love it too despite none of the things actually being ok for us to eat

There's probably a higher than average number of veggies on the forum, but by no means everyone, I'd guess still a minority...

 

That comes from coal mining. I learnt this at the National Museum of Coal

Yeah good old land of ex coal miners. They cant speak and they all claim to have been given some terrible injury even if they never actually worked IN the pits, but I learnt to love...well, maybe 1 or 2 of them. It was just my particular town though, it was awful. All needles on the floor and stuff. Nice

 

Btw bet you took a notebook and made notes for future reference at the museum didnt you
