The world's gotta have truck drivers. Personally, I don't think it's just a job for simpletons, and I wouldn't mind doing it. It sounds like great fun, I love places and driving. But even if it was a simpletons job, someone's got to do it.

Even if someone IS just stupid, giving them the childhood they need is going to set them up to be happy.

This threads focus on success bothers me. Being happy and making others happy are the only success that matters.

Sorry guys if you feel in some way objectified, but the whole point of reproductive choice is to give women the right to make decisions not only about whether to reproduce, but with who. If a woman wants a donor who has perfect eyesight, is athletic, and has no genetic problems that run in his family then so what...it is not like a women goes into a sperm bank wanting a relationship, she wants a baby and so she should be able to get a baby with traits she prefers.

Does that mean that certain males might not be able to donate to sperm banks? Suppose so. However, not all men are allowed to go into medical school, or to join the police force for that matter. Is that fair? Suppose not. is nature fair? I think everyone knows the answer to that too -- and even in human society an intelligent, healthy and even attractive person will have a better chance at success in life. I find it odd that females seem to be dealing with this issue from a rational basis while males seem to be resorting to emotion. Remember - choice!
