You can always threaten to get a lawyer involved, if I were you I would not put up with this. It is not very intelligent of the boss to take your complaints lightly in this day and age.

 

Yeah, I feel a little disappointed in myself, I wish I would have said something yesterday in his office, but I was just shocked and couldnt believe what had just happened. I left early again today so I wouldnt have to see him. I know thats so cowardly and stupid but I am just afraid of what my boss might have told him, ya know.

i think you should talk to someone other then you're boss (someone higher up) and let that person know you are NOT putting up with it...

Get this shit, I overheard this mean ol' broad calling me a slut to someone I work with. I was sitting in someone elses cubicle helping them fix something and I heard the lady that sits right beside her, call me a slut to someone. Peoples ignorance surprises me everyday. I am guessing some people found out and think its because of me or something..
So I said, ya know i am sitting right here and i can hear every word you are saying..
And then I just heard whispering..
I dont want to work here anymore..and I think i am going to look for a different job cause I cant take the stares and whispers..

It just pisses me off so much and i am afraid I will say something, like go off on someone or something. I wanted to throw something at that lady's head when I heard her calling me a slut..I am sure that everyone thinks its me and not the old guy..which is complete and utter bullshit and this company sucks a big fat one anyway..

i used to have this crazy puerto rican girl at my work... .she had a TEMPER... she was always messing with me.... and for some reason, ID get in trouble (suspended for three days) when i yelled at her for it.

im glad i dont work there anymore...

That sounds terrrible mystical Shroom. These guys are the worst kinds of scum, and they seem to 'aim' for the nicest, quietist girls to take advantage of.
I was working at a grocery store, and the same thing was happening to my friend R, my wormy little assistant manager was learing at her and rubbing her shoulder, and making lewd comments to her. So i went to my manager and he said that they would have a 'talk'. R said Things got okay for a day or two, so i thought the problem was solved, but things ecalated pretty soon. It got to the point where i told him to 'back the hell off' , and he threatened to fire me. later that day I saw him staring down her shirt and whispering to her.I complained to the manager again and again, but he just kept saying hed 'take care of it'.
So i took R to go see my friend sean's dad, a lawyer. He assured us that what was happening was illegal, and even though he was working on some big case, he would work really hard to call everyone and make sure things got shaken up. A few more days past and then on some thursday evening I saw him groping R, in broad daylight, in the middle of the store. At this point, i said fuck it and shoved him off her. We started yelling in the middle of a lot of customers, he yelled that i was fired, I yelled if i saw him near R again i would fucking take it out on his ugly face, and by this point, someone called the cops. Eventually before i had the chance to beat the crap outta him, I had chased him out of the store, and he ran home with his tail between his legs. The cops came and took me to the station, i got printed and they took a mugshot, but after i called "my lawyer" they let me leave. Anyway, my friends dad really came through, the manager got relocated, The prick assitant manager got fired AND sued, and I got fired as expected, It was a crappy 'sack' job anyway . But it worked out really well. A new manager, a woman who R really likes came in, R kept her job, and i think she got a raise.
I had a pretty nice few weeks of slinking around town, doing nothing, and then my freinds dad called me up and offered me a summer job as a process server. It was a really cool job, and i got paid like 9 bucks an hour to drive around town and tell people to show up in court, and "dont shoot the messenger."
Anyway i really feel for you, the guy sounds like a creep, and you dont deserve to be treated like that. scumbags like him get off by being creapy and leary and just assholes to women. The only advice i can give is to not let the freaks weird psycological advances make you feel bad about yourself, and to do whats best for you. Dont feel afriad to talk to people about it, hes the one who should be ashamed. see if you can find some feminist associations around you, and if you want see if they can find you a lawyer to talk to about what you can do. be sure to bring up to your manager that your considering pursuing it legaly, and speaking with a lawyer.
make it really clear theres a 5-ft radius between you, and dont be afriad to call the cops if you need to either, I'm usually pretty uncomforatbale with cops, but they'll be on your side on this one. Believe me, you have to let this creep know the limits or he'll just keep pushing, not only do you not deserve it, but he doesnt deserve any sympathy treatment, push it till he backs off. My situation escalated to the point where if the creep hadn't gotten fired, i woulda made sure both R and I quit, It had gotten to the point beyond being a creep and i was woried about her safety. I'm not suggesting you quit cause i dont know the situation, but dont let yourself fall into a dangerous scenario.
I hope that helps, I dunno if the advice is any good, but be consoled that things tend to work out fine, even if you have to deal with a lot of shit to get things started. take care of yourself and good luck.

I cant get over that, as that makes me angry as well..

I have been debating on whether to quit or not cause nothing is being done and he obviously knows now that i went to my boss, and some how he found out..so my days at the workplace arent that grand...
Its like I am the bad one when this chester is aloud to say very sexual comments and stare and sometimes touch..I just dont understand sometimes..
Hopefully now he stays away, I can deal with others comments cause I know that I am telling the truth..but it is hurtful at times..

I've been sexually harassed several times, and this is definitely sexual harassment. I really hope you reported this man to your boss, he'd really get it.

I'm so sorry you have to put up with this as well. I know how it feels, and it's such a horrible, dirty feeling.

Please, get help and tell your boss if you haven't already. Then, update us on what happens.

I have told my boss and he didnt really believe me, he said that he probably didnt mean it like that and so on...
And then he stated that he would have a talk with him if I wanted him too...

So I just left and I suppose someone said something cause people know..

He doesnt say much now, but when he comes in he winks at me and stares at my chest and sometimes licks his lips(which makes me throw up in my mouth a little, makes me want to puke all over him, sorry to be graphic, but it does)

I just feel as everyone thinks its me and thinks i am lying or that i am at fault..
I just want to tell them all to go fuck themselves..but i know thats not a good idea..
Coming to work is very hard to do...I lay in bed forever not wanting to go..
